CULTURAL HERITAGE PRESERVATION
One of our main activities is the creation of cultural heritage preservation documentation for the heritage sites in Ukraine. Though this is not the most eciting work ever, it is incredibly important for our past, present and future.
Українське законодавство розроблене таким чином, що для збереження пам'ятки її фізичного існування недостатньо.
Без спеціального набору документів та включення до визначених реєстрів, будь-який курган або старовинну садибу може без жодних наслідків знести умовний бульдозерист.
Ukranian law is neither perfect nor holistic. Therefore the existence of heritage object is not ebough for its preservation. Without the specific set of documents, every kourgan, historical building or monument can be destroyed, for instance, during the construction works.
According to the Laws of Ukraine "On the cultural heritage preservation" and "On the Archaeological heirtage preservation", creation of the cultural heritage documentation for the heritage sites and their periodical monitoring is only allowed to the limited group of experts with the particular qualification.
NGO "Archaїc" is rich with this kind of experts. Therefore we are collaborating with the governmental structures and other related authorities to create the cultural heritage documentation. We are doing it digitally, with modern quality. Our results are way better then the common accepted standard. Our instruments include:
