Scientific and research lab «Archaїc» is a non-governmental organization that unites numerous experts of different age, style, and background to create a multidisciplinary team. Together we work on research, protection and preservation of cultural heritage in Ukraine and abroad. Our task is to make culture speak with the language of science

Mission

MAKING TRANSDISCIPLINARITY TO BE THE STANDARD OF CULTURAL HERITAGE RESEARCH IN UKRAINE

To fulfill our mission we gathered historians, archaeologists, informatics, chemists and educators in one project devoted to the unification of their common efforts to protect and preserve cultural heritage. Moreover, we want to develop new ways of study and past and talk about it. Therefore we:

Develop and implement the standards of high-quality cultural heritage modeling

Study unique archaeological and artistic sites in Ukraine and abroad

Determine specific solutions, processes, projects, and protocols for the cultural heritage preservation

Disseminate and outreach our work with the expert community in Ukraine, Europe, and the USA

Apply digital methods and tools to the development of cultural heritage preservation documentation

The first digital rock art research in Ukraine

Crowdfunding event for the purchase and implementation of 3D laser scanner to digitize and therefore preserve Ukrainian cultural heritage during the war

Intense cultural heritage preservation activity following governmental rules and standards on the extra high qualification level

Participation in the projects, discussions and initiatives of the worldwide communities on the cultural heritage preservation initiatives in Ukraine

3D History for Ukraine

Crowdfunding event and volunteering iniative, developed with the support of World Archeological Congress (Czech Republic) and Heritage Media Group (UK). The project aimed to purchase the equipment for the cultural heirtage digitization and preservation in Ukraine during the war and spreading the word of Ukrainian culture worldwide.
